POSITION IS AVAILABLE TO PERMANENT EMPLOYEES WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES ONLY.
Examples of Work:
Serve as lead worker through coaching, mentoring, instructing and providing case consultation, advice, direction, technical assistance and individual training to Social Services Workers and Trainees to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services. Process and determines eligibility for complex customer economic assistance services. Provide assistance in monitoring and evaluating internal protocols, policies, service delivery goals and objectives. Will verify information, compute budgets, assess situations, and make referrals to appropriate programs/resources. Will provide information regarding assistance programs and prepare required documentation, narratives, and correspondence.
Hours: 9-6, Monday - Friday.
Qualifications / Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS: Two years experience in a health and/or human services field OR 24 semester hours of post high school education in behavioral sciences, public/business administration, social sciences or closely related field OR any combination of education and experience that equates to two years in human services, behavioral sciences, public/business administration, social sciences, or closely related field. Experience in a social service organization with responsibility for determining eligibility for economic assistance programs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must have basic math skills, strong computer and key boarding skills, organizational and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to read, understand, apply, and explain complex regulations and policiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
